When should I wear the KneePower?

Wear the KneePower when you’re going to be on your feet for long periods or performing simple tasks that may irritate or destabilize your knee, like when bending or twisting. Use it for any activity where you need support with your stability.

People with a degenerative condition, like osteoarthritis of the knee, may find it helpful to wear KneePower when you are more active, playing a sport, or on your feet for long periods.

How long should I wear KneePower? Can I wear it overnight?

If the brace is helpful and allows you to continue doing what you love, then you should continue to wear the brace indefinitely.

Typically, you should not wear a knee brace at night. However, postsurgical patients may be instructed by their surgeon to wear a brace a night to limit unwanted movement.

Will KneePower make my knee weak?

Unless you are using a brace that limits your motion drastically or provides rigid support, the muscles around your knee are not going to weaken. In fact, if wearing a knee brace allows you to be more active/return to exercise or walking, then your strength is probably going to improve.

Keep in mind that everyone is different. In some cases, wearing a knee brace may cause you to not use the muscles that support your knee as much as you should. This in turn may make you rely on your knee brace for stability instead of muscles like your quadriceps.

What if I’m between sizes? Should I purchase the smaller or larger size?

Choose the larger size for gentler compression or the smaller size for firmer compression. When between sizes, the average person prefers the smaller size for a more secure fit, unless you are sensitive to compression.

How do I wash it?

KneePower is made with machine-washable materials. Here’s how to care for your brace: For the pads and supportive string, remove them if possible, or fasten them securely at the place provided on the brace. Machine wash your brace in cold water using the gentle or delicate cycle. Wash separately using laundry detergent with no additives (do not use fabric softener or Woolite). Lay your support flat and let it air dry; do not put it in the dryer. Proper washing and drying helps your knit support maintain elasticity and original fit.

Is this a one time purchase?

Yes, rest assured that all orders on this page are one-time purchases.

This means that you won’t be charged again in the subsequent months. There will not be any automatic recurring billing or hidden charges. It will only be billed once according to what you have purchased.
